Even though schools can implement Meet the Masters on their own, we do offer on-site teachers to provide instruction for many areas in Southern California. Please review the map and contacts below to get more information.
If your school is not located in these areas or if you want to implement the program with your own teachers/volunteers, please click here.

Being employed with MTM is nothing short of pure joy! I am able to share my love of art with students and help them develop a love and appreciation for the arts as I have. I have been with MTM for 8 years and it never gets boring. Working both in the classroom with the students and doing the art history lectures is equally fun and rewarding. I really love seeing the excitement on the children’s facing when exploring one of our many master artists! Favorite artists: Degas, Rousseau and Monet.

During my first few years of teaching elementary school, I realized the overwhelming need for art in the classroom. Meet the Masters provided an opportunity for my students to not only learn art history but also enjoy creating amazing landscapes, still lifes and portraits with many mediums; therefore I decided to be a part of the program that brought life to the classroom. I have now been working for Meet the Masters for four years and still love making the artists’ stories and masterpieces come alive for the students. Favorite artists: Claude Monet & Winslow Homer.

As a credentialed CA teacher, I was concerned with the lack of art in my children’s classes. That was the impetus for the beginning of Meet the Masters over 25 years ago. I researched, tested, and wrote the curriculum that has grown to include 35 master artists sold and taught worldwide. It has been a labor of love, that continues to this day. I am still involved in improving and adding to the curriculum, our customer service, and the training and selection of our staff. Among my favorite artists: Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georgia O’Keeffe.

This is my 10th year with Meet the Masters, and I have enjoyed every aspect of this job! I am involved in teaching both students and teachers, managing, selling, training our staff–I wear many hats. My own son experienced Meet the Masters in his elementary school. While watching “Millionaire” on TV one evening, as a second grader he was able to answer the art history question, while the contestant had to phone a friend!
